My disagreement with primatavism is based on a simple point: the Sun will eventually die, and long before it does, all species on the planet will be destroyed.

Civilization as it stands is a monstrosity, and we need to create a very different way of being. That said, if we shuck the development of Technology, no matter how much we love mother Gaia, all life on this planet has around 1-2 billion years left.

Space Travel, not as an alienated departure from a destroyed and consumed planet, but rather as a natural growth beyond the terrestrial boundaries of our birth home, is necessary at some point.

This won’t happen without technology.

So, Primatavists, at the root, are short sighted and suicidal. They may want to return to a natural state, but that natural state wont’ last forever.

A very intelligent point of view.

I sympathize with your, our cause, that the foe, usury capitalism, is a black hole, that will stop only after devouring the world, and putting the beasts who benefit from its mechanisms on the top of a food chain that will die out, or so it appears.

I feel like I’m “soiling” this post but…are you influenced by Ran Prieur or Charles Eisenstein? Who influences your world view?
